Beatwear.co.uk have been supplying high quality sixties style men’s boots and clothing from our base in Cavern Walks, Mathew Street, Liverpool England since the mid-1990’s. The retail shop has the full range of boots and clothing and attracts musicians, bands and tourists from all over the world. Apart from the shop we are now concentrating more on our web-sales with the advent of this, our new look website, which we are pleased to report has been having favourable comments since it’s launch and our up and coming concessions, which we hope to have in various locations around the world before long.
Our sought-after boots come in seven fabulous styles, most all have a core line of black leather or suede but with a few other, and more wilder, colours to mix it up a bit. They are based on the original patterns and lasts from the 1960’s – but are tweaked a bit now to give a more comfortable fit! Talk to those who wore the original ones back in the day and they will tell you they were certainly not for the faint hearted!! We do offer a lower Cuban heel version in some styles as well as the higher Cuban heel as we know that the height is not to everyone’s taste. We have played about with the styling so that each take on the boot has a slightly different look. Our boots can now be lovingly worn for longer whether it is up and down the high street or night after night on stage. All of our boots are made in Italy with the finest leather and the softest leather linings, with a leather sole … a quality product that we are extremely proud of. The exception to the Italian made range is the few specials we get made here in England, which are made in the English time-honoured good-year welted way, these only come in the lower heel option and are made of the same finest grade leather.
Our clothing line is growing too, and is increasingly popular for all different genres. These are made in England. Our jackets and trousers have a slightly different fit to the regular clothes of today, it is a bit more snug and slimmer fitting just like they used to be in the days of the Beatles and the Kinks. The look never seems to go out of fashion; we have people ordering suits for their weddings, christenings, for stage wear and just for everyday regular wear.
